K.C. Taylor is an esteemed educator, curriculum developer, award-winning author, and dynamic youth speaker with a rich background in pedagogy and youth empowerment. A graduate of Indiana State University and American College of Education, she holds degrees in Education and Curriculum and Instruction respectively. Acknowledged with three Teacher of the Year accolades, K.C. has notably co-authored "LegoMindstorms," an influential STEM curriculum for grades K-12.
Her literary contributions include the multiplication fluency guide ‘Oh Yeah! Oh My! Let’s Multiply!’ and several young adult novels, with "Sincerely Yours, Mrs. Taylor-Wash" and "Black Leather Jacket" earning accolades for poetry and social themes. As the founder of Sapati Ingera Publishing, Taylor's mission is to entertain, encourage, and empower the youth through literature.

the name
Sapati Ingera or “all the children are well.” It is the desirable response to the Swahili greeting Kasserian Ingera or “and how are the children?” This greeting and response highlights the importance the Massai place on the wellbeing of their children. A society flourishes only when its most vulnerable members “children” are well cared for.
