K.C. Taylor is an award-winning author, recording artist, curriculum developer, and dedicated sixth-grade math teacher. A graduate of Indiana State University and the American College of Education, she holds degrees in Education and Curriculum & Instruction. Her excellence in the classroom is matched by her literary success, having earne

A graduate of Indiana State University and the American College of Education, she holds degrees in Education and Curriculum & Instruction. Her excellence in the classroom is matched by her literary success, having earned four Teacher of the Year accolades alongside honors for her YA poetry and social themes in works like Sincerely Yours, Mrs. Taylor-Wash and Black Leather Jacket.
As the founder of Sapati Ingera Publishing, K.C. is on a mission to entertain, encourage, and empower readers globally. Beyond the page, she conducts themed author visits focusing on authorship, depression, perseverance, wellness, and faith.
